Jude

So I am feeling as though I have been extremely productive lately, with DIY projects, Almost completing my first module of my study (I am up to my frist assessment and I am trying to find the guts to actually start it) and Last night I too Jude to his first night at puppy school.
Yes this is my gorgeous little boy Jude
Well at least it was him, now he is HUGE and extremely naughty.
This is only some of the mischief he gets up to... along with pulling the clothes of the line and tormenting my other poor old dog Basil. Yes they are the best of friends, Jude has a fascination with Basils ear, nothing more fun that pulling and chewing on them until Basil snaps and gets his cranky pants on.
So any way off we go last night to try and teach him right from wrong.. I think it will be a difficult task but i'm  up for it.
Jude was like a completly different dog, was scred of the little puppies and decided it was best if he just lay there and take a nap. Towards the end he did become his social little self and made friends with Chanel the 16 week old choc lab and Malcolm the 6 month old (horse) I mean Great Dane.

So until next time! Farwell and enjoy your day

DIY Number 1

Good Morning Bloggy People,

Wow! I have had a super busy weekend, full of fun road trips to Sydney with the girls, Corporate box tickets for Kelly Clarkson, Spending Sprees at IKEA and finally finishing it all of when I got home with a little furniture building and a little DIY for my bedroom.

Ok well first things first, I decided that my bedroom was missing a little ZING! So off I went to IKEA for some inspiration.... And I came home with this

Well 2 of these, Pin Boards and some pretty fabric, my aim was to cover the pin boards in the fabric and use them to display some photos and just other little bits and pieces that make me smile. So after much deliberation as to how I was going to get the fabric to stick to the pin boards (including a HUGE blonde moment on my part, but we aren't going there) I wandered on over to Bunnings to purchase my self my first tool (I guess you could call it) My new shiny stapel gun...

So after about 10 minutes of making a fair bit of noise and confusing the family as to what I was getting up to in my bedroom, this was the outcome and I am quiet happy with how it looks.

I think the colours fit in perfectly with my walls and quilt cover, just because I was snap happy here are a couple more photos.

Good luck to you all with your own DIY projects, let me know what you do and I will hopefully give them a go too.

Slacker

Well, this isn't a very good start. I have already been slacking off with updating this thing. Fingers crossed not a sign of whats to come.
OK so it's time to fill you all in on the last week or so.

Well last Thursday I ventured off on my little Easter getaway.
We headed off to this lovely little city/town called Wollongong to see a band (British India) and to catch up with the fam bam.

So day one,
Went to the beach with the fam to meet the boys whilst they attempted to fish... I was hoping to score a nice dinner out of it but they failed to catch anything. But I did manage to get some very pretty photos which I will post in my next blog because forgetful me has left my camera at home every day this week.

That night we set off to see British India. And you can only imagine how excited I was to score front and centre right in front of the amazing looking Declan (one day we will run away and get married, pfft in my dreams) Well anyway Me and N made friends with the lovely boys from The Howling Tongues (the support band) And all thanks to B he scored me a drum stick, and then I managed to convince Mitch (lead singer) to give me a signed copy of their EP. Which he did!

Then the fun started... I sang so loud and that the next day I couldn't work out weather my ears were ringing because of that or the fact that it was so LOUD down the front, all in all I had an amazing time. Yes I did get to meet a couple of members of the band and I also did get a photo with the bassit.

I have managed to edit a couple of photos from the gig.
Enjoy
